Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The latest addition to the sample-sale-as-party scene comes courtesy of New York's Everything Must Go (EMG) Vintage, who are bringing their signature sale event from the Tribeca Grand to Hollywood's Roosevelt Hotel for the first time. Tomorrow night only, founders Djuna Bel and Mandy Coon will be setting up shop at the hotel's pool, showcasing all manner of pieces both vintage and relatively contemporary. Expect deals like vintage YSL sandals for $40, sunglasses for under $70 from Persol, Balenciaga and Dior, plus secondhand staples like leather motorcycle jackets, rompers and sundresses, most for under $50. Stop by between 9pm and 1:30am for dancing, shopping, and general merriment.
