Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

A few weeks ago, we reported that stylist and vintage buyer Erin Tavin would be opening a concept shop in the former Show Pony location. Today, we learn that her Echo Park boutique officially has a name—Tavin—and that it's now set to open on Saturday, July 11. We'll have the full lowdown then, but in the meantime, Tavin was kind enough to share a few photos of the progress, revealing an enchanting nook that houses all manner of clothing, jewelry, arts and crafts, books, and other assorted loveliness, both vintage and modern.
