Fashion types may turn up their noses at flip-flops, hoodies, and other staples of SoCal surf style, but that hasn't stopped many of them from taking to the waves themselves. Style File polled its network of insiders to discover their favorite warm-weather sports, only to find that surfing topped the list. Along with the usual suspects (Erin Wasson), other style-savvy surfers include Barneys exec Julie Gilhart, photographers Mario Sorrenti and David Sims, and designers like Narciso Rodriguez, Yigal Azrouël, and Patrick Robinson.
