VENICE—If the age-old dilemma of deck shoes vs. sneakers has got you down, solace can be found at Venice's Milkmade. The shop is a huge advocate of M. Coleman Horn's VAEL label, which combines both of these styles and more to create a guy's version of the day-to-night shoe. Tomorrow night, the designer will be making an appearance at the shop, bringing along an "extended inventory" of specially-priced kicks for your perusal. Plus, for the entire weekend (Friday June 19-Sunday June 21), Milkmade will be taking 15% off menswear by Corpus, Trovata and What Comes Around Goes Around. Friday's festivities are from 6pm-9pm at 1413 Abbot Kinney. [RackedWire]
WEST HOLLYWOOD—The party planners at Revolve Clothing are working overtime these days. Following on from last week's Berlin design shop-in-shop, tonight the boutique will be throwing a bash in honor of artist/designer Lauren Moshi, who created an exclusive canvas just for the store. In addition to the obligatory snacks and cocktails, Revolve is also giving away mini-Moshi prints to anyone who spends $150 on her clothing. If you want to put in a bid for the $30,000 main event yourself, stop by 8452 Melrose Ave. between 6pm and 9pm [RackedWire]
