Last month, we learned that Enid & Edgar vintage—an out-of-the-way Echo Park boutique that used to live underneath the Glendale Blvd. bridge— was preparing to move onto West Sunset next to Origami Vinyl. But when we drove by the other day, 'For Lease' signs were hanging in the windows, leading us to wonder whether the shop had decided to leave the brick and mortar world for good. As it turns out, that particular agreement fell through, but owner Sandy Arellanes tells us she's now got bigger plans in store for her business. "We are in negotiations with two other spots in Echo Park right now," says Arellanes. "We hope to be opening a late night shop/venue/gallery spot fairly soon...In the meantime, we will be online." Until this new concept comes to fruition, you can find Enid & Edgar's '60s and '70s gems on eBay.
