Last night's CFDA Fashion awards marked a coup for LA fashion, as the women of Rodarte won the coveted prize for Womenswear Designer of the Year. Calvin Klein's Italo Zucchelli and Band Of Outsiders' Scott Sternberg tied for Menswear Designer of the Year, and the duo behind Proenza Schouler received Accessory Designer of the Year. As for the Swarovski awards for emerging designers, Alexander Wang won for womenswear, Tim Hamilton for menswear, and Justin Giunta (Subversive Jewelry) for accessory design. [WWD, subscription req]
