Remember when they first announced that Zara would be joining the retail ranks on Hollywood Boulevard? Probably not, because it happened two years ago, but it looks like the fast-fashion sensation might finally be preparing for its big reveal. We spotted this 'Now Hiring' plywood over the weekend, and, after a little bit of digging, discovered the shop is holding recruiting events on Friday, June 19 and Tuesday, June 23. This news comes nearly a year after the Hollywood location's first projected opening date, during which time retailers like H&M and American Apparel have opened in surrounding storefronts, all located across the street from the Hollywood & Highland complex.
During the same recruiting event, staff will be selected for Zara at the Fairfax and West 3rd Farmer's Market, which has undergone a comparitively speedy development—it's only been under construction since early spring. No specific opening dates have been announced, but we imagine that if they're bringing on staff at this stage, doors should be open in a month or so.
