The Hundreds blog chatted yesterday with the owners of The Holy Grail, one of the only Downtown retailers decimated by the post-Laker game riots on Sunday night. The sneaker consignment shop, which the blog deems "one of LA's finest," was reportedly robbed of nearly 800 pairs that evening, and the video reveals an eerily empty space with only a few stray boxes remaining. Says owner Richard Torres: "You just see, like 40, 50 people running in...the wackest part of the whole thing is...they just start lighting the sh*t up. They weren't even jacking our kicks, they just needed something to light on fire and throw at the cops." Consignments are, obviously, very welcome right now.
