There are some interesting developments to report regarding the now-empty Circuit City store on Sunset Blvd in Silver Lake. We hear that owner CIM has found a tenant for the space, while the parking lot immediately next to the Circuit City is now for sale (pictured above). Owned by the now bankrupt chain, the lot at 1446 Virgil is .38 acres, used as a spillover lot for the Circuit City parking lot, and is asking $650,000. Anyone keen to build? Meanwhile, what kind of tenant is headed to Circuit City? Who has money to open right now? At least some Silver Lake residents were hoping for a Whole Foods.
