Rumors that Kitson is shrinking keep popping up in Racked and Curbed comments sections. Of course, people love to anonymously rain doom upon the chain, but the gossip has gotten oddly specific: We keep hearing that the Americana branch is shutting down. Today, Kitson owner Fraser Ross addressed the rumors in WWD, telling the paper: "We're still a tenant in Americana and we're not closing it." Instead, they're planning to expand: Look out for a Kitson Men's in the Malibu Lumber Yard in June and a Kitson Kids at Disneyland in July. There's also a Kitson opening in Tokyo in September, but WWD remains skeptical, at least on the Americana front: "Gossip persists that Ross may exit or at least scale down the size of the store later this summer."
