Allure's June issue has dropped, and with it, the winners of this year's Reader's Choice Awards. Frank.Studio, a low-key atelier tucked away among Santa Monica's Bergamot Station galleries, was named LA's 'Best Hair Salon'. We're sure the sour apple martinis and chocolate chip cookies that are reportedly fed to customers played no part in the voters' decision. Surprisingly, the beleaguered Macy's took LA's prize for 'Best Department Store for Beauty'—the Beverly Center location was specifically singled out for excellence. Rounding out the winners circle were Bliss L.A. at the W Hotel, which won for 'Best Day Spa', and Sephora, given a nod for 'Best Beauty Boutique'. [Allure]
