A reader trekked out to the Citadel outlets this weekend to visit the American Apparel sale, and while we don't usually report on sales once they're over, we appreciated her takeaway: "I hit the Citadel first thing in the morning on Saturday. I was rather disappointed, there wasn't really much of a sale to be had. A bin of unisex Ts, a single rack of skirts, a single rack of shorts, and a single rack of dresses. Most of these being weirdly stained, have holes in them, or are just not up to quality control. But I guess that's the case with any of the items discounted at this particular outlet. Before purchasing anything at these sales, I'd be sure to inspect each garment I'm purchasing REALLLLLY well." This is, of course, the curse of outlets everywhere, but it's also good advice for anyone who plans to check out the upcoming rummage sales. [Racked Comments]
