Just as its papered windows were becoming a familiar Robertson landmark, Rock & Republic's flagship was finally unveilled on Monday. The quiet debut came three months after its last reported opening date, and apparently not a moment too soon. Staffers tell us they've been flooded with requests for the black-and-white 'Liberation' jeans worn by Adam Lambert on Wednesday's American Idol finale, and they've already had to place a second order for the silver-coated women's version.

According to assistant store manager Cassidy Hoban, other popular picks have included lightweight leather jackets for guys, and bustier-style camis and dresses with zip detailing for the ladies. These sit alongside Rock & Republic's entire summer clothing line (including several boutique exclusives), men's and women's shoes, bags, cosmetics, and men's accessory line Rock is King. A makeup artist and DJ will be on hand every Thursday through Saturday, setting an appropriately weekend-y tone for a brand known for its rhinestone-pocketed weekend jeans. We weren't allowed to take photos of the interior, but since your patience has most likely reached Axl Rose-like levels by now, we have a feeling you won't mind waiting for the official ones.
