Still Open: Kitson's Makeshift Santa Monica Outlet

Remember that Kitson Outlet on 3rd Street Promenade, the one that was supposedly popping up for just two weeks? Well, apparently a fortnight wasn't enough time to offload stacks of sex manuals and mountains of Victoria Beckham jeans (now $49.95)—two months after we first reported its debut, it's still holding court in Borders' old space.

And it doesn't look like this trove of rhinestones and chiffon will be going anywhere soon. A staffer said that they'll "probably stay for another month," and haven't ruled out extending the lease. He went on to say that they're still receiving new merch daily—presumably not-so-great news for the retailer, but good news for anyone seeking a cut-price Paris Hilton tee.
