Yesterday afternoon around 3pm, the Atlanta-based rapper and one-time Sean John model Dolla was shot at the La Cienega entrance to the Beverly Center. Dolla, whose real name was Roderick Anthony Burton II, had flown in from Atlanta earlier that day, and his publicist told the LA Times that he'd gotten into a fight with some people who'd followed him to the mall.
While no suspects have been identified, cops detained a male "person of interest" at the airport. There may also be a second, female suspect—the manager of a Chipotle where people heard the shots said that one of her employees saw a woman with a handgun.
