Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We're a week late on this one, but still think it's worth mentioning the Silver Lake Art, Craft & Vintage market has abandoned its former digs at the Citibank lot for a new home at Micheltorena Elementary School. According to its website, the market is now serving as "a weekly fundraiser created by the community to support the student program development and general advancement of Micheltorena Elementary School."

Every Saturday, from 10am-4pm, the neighborhood's resident artisans and craftspeople will be setting up shop at Micheltorena and Sunset, hawking everything from vintage clothing and handmade jewelry to original artwork and household trinkets. Each vendor is handpicked by the event's founders, the ladies of Ghettogloss gallery—meaning you won't have to pick through a ton of broken chairs and moth-eaten sweaters to get to the good stuff.
