Recent cost cutting and restructuring have helped Gap turn a profit, but those measures seem not to have affected the salaries of the retail chain's CEOs. WWD reports that "Glenn Murphy, chairman and chief executive officer of Gap Inc., received total compensation of $9.3 million in 2008, his first full year on the job."
