The Shopaholic sample sales have been roaming Los Angeles like a tribe of nomads for months, but now their vagabond days are behind them. The new Shopaholic boutique, at 144 N. La Brea Avenue, opened last Friday with a selection similar to what you'd find at the sales—samples from brands like Ya-Ya Aflalo and Eva Franco. Because the buyers have a relationship with the designers, everything's hand-picked, and the prices run from 50% to 90% off retail, meaning a $298 BCBG Max Azria dress will fall in the $60 range.
