American Apparel Does Maternity, Sort Of

American Apparel seems to be expanding into a new market: Mothers-to-be. They haven't actually launched a line of maternity-wear, mind you—they've just assembled a collection of their stretchiest items, all of which could theoretically be squeezed around a pregnant belly. As Jezebel's mom commenters (mommenters?) all pointed out, a jumpsuit might not be the best thing to wear when you're peeing twenty times a day, and we're not even going to get into the inefficacy of that cotton tube top bra. But the models look cute and happy and not remotely like Dov Charney cornered them with a camera in his bathroom, so we think we approve.
