Muji is Japan's answer to Ikea—a design-conscious, utilitarian mega-brand that sells everything from furniture to socks. In Tokyo, it's entirely possible to spend a full day in the Muji flagship store; in New York, shoppers get three different Mujis to choose from, plus a to-go kiosk at the airport. So far, LA hasn't been able to join in the fun, but today Muji added online shopping to its US website, meaning that perfectly-conceived minimalist notebooks are now just a couple mouseclicks away.
