Loomstate for Target held its west side launch of its new warm weather collection at Venice spot Big Red Sun last night. The botanical exterior and earthy indoor space was completely stocked with everything we wanted to see in person, from the black organic cotton and silk sleeveless cocktail dresses to the white bikinis printed with flying flocks of pelicans. A Big Red Sun rep said the best seller of the night was a super soft black and white micro-striped tunic, with a row of buttons up the back neck, but we spotted excited shoppers, like famous brand fan Debi Mazar, looming over the plaid dresses and eco-themed graphic tees.
Brand reps loomed by valet with pelican-print tote bags and graphic tees for parting party-ers, but most didn't risk waiting for their exit to grab their goody bag and claimed them on arrival. The collection hits stores April 19th.
