New York may be the fashion capital of the country, but one big-name NYC designer just decided the living might be easier out here. Calvin Klein has bought a house in LA, reports blog Fashion Rules: "He was recently in LA on a trip, and decided the city held some allure for him right now—the space, the light, the weather. Not only that, his great longtime friends Barry Diller, Diane von Fustenberg, Sandy Gallin and David Geffen spend much of their time here. He joins Tom Ford as the other major NY designer who’s moved to LA—making LA a much more sophisticated fashionable city." [Fashion Rules]
