Just when we were thinking the prospect of this month's LA Fashion Week was an early April Fool's joke, BoxEight has revealed its lineup for the weekend of March 13-15. Along with the Gen Art kickoff event we reported last week, ten designers have been tapped for the runway—a lighter roster than last season's, which included 14 designers over four days. Saturday's running order includes David Alexander, COA, Future Heretics and martinMARTIN, while the weekend will wrap on Sunday with Mike Vensel, The Batallion, Yotam Solomon, Sjobek, Rojas and Li Cari.
This season, the proceedings will be moved from the desolate warehouse district housing BOXeight's studio to the more hospitible nabe of Downtown's Los Angeles Theater. We suspect this will be a welcome change for many attendees, who appeared to be shaking in their Prada platforms at the prospect of being knifed down in the valet line last season.
