As if the 7900 block of West 3rd Street weren't getting skimpy enough, we've learned that Pixie Market will soon be closing its LA doors. According to store manager Laura Monte, the retailer is choosing to focus on the web shop and New York boutique, which she says are both performing "very strongly." No closing date has been set, and Monte says that much of the current merchandise is being shipped to New York, so it's unclear whether a closing sale will materialize. This is a major loss for the dwindling stretch, which has also lost Scout, Built by Wendy and Pinkyotto since the beginning of the year.
