If you're too timid to jump aboard the bare midriff train, consider sporting your cutouts in a more subtle way - on the back. The Battalion and David Alexander showed cocktail dresses with simple, T-shaped back straps; Kimberly Ovitz gave the trend an '80s spin with shredding and exposed zips, while a COLA staffer opted for an intricate, net-like style made entirely from tiny black beads. Business in the front, party in the back - kind of like fashion's version of a mullet (we know, we're cringing too).
