Label Slow and Steady Wins the Race has developed a cult following for its special brand of stripped-down-yet-quirky basics, but the brand's still somewhat hard to find. Now, though, designer Mary Ping has brought her aesthetic to mega-chain Urban Outfitters with a line called Cool, Casual. The first of what will undoubtedly be several collections for the retailer has just arrived online. It's small, with just five styles—a leather tee, a mesh sweatshirt, a silk tunic, a trench and cropped pants—in black and white. We assume more pieces will be added, as Ping's original concept for the project was eight pieces for $88 each.
