Kitson Outlet Pops Up on the Promenade

Good news for Santa Monica spring breakers: Kitson is preparing to open a pop-up outlet at 1415 Third Street Promenade. A call to the Robertson store revealed the outlet will be opening tomorrow, March 19, and staying for the next two weeks. The staffer said they're still unsure of what hours it will keep, but it should definitely be open by noon tomorrow. Window decals trumpet 30-70% off gear for men, women and kids, and a peek inside revealed stacks of jeans (Hudson, Denim of Virtue), tees, and, perplexingly, stuffed animals. But don't expect the usual slick Kitson decor—at the time of our visit, at least, the former Borders space was all folding tables and plastic bins.
