LA is never at a loss for novelty denim trends, but the one that stood out on the first day of BOXEight Fashion Week was extreme acid washing. UNIF gave it a '90s grunge spin, pairing bleached out jeans and denim vests with sunflower tees, flannel shirts and Kurt Cobain cardigans, while fellow streetwear label Future Heretics applied it to everything from overalls to sweatpants to an entire suit.
