This is a good weekend to be a fashionable man. The SocialPrimer opens in West Hollywood, the Fairfax Corner Sale offers plenty of bargains for streetwear fans, and NY-based men's line Operations is running not one but two trunk shows in town. Operations is known for taking the kind of utilitarian gear worn by construction workers and firemen and, as their name implies, giving it plastic surgery. The end result is rugged yet modern, and if you are (or your boyfriend is) the sort of guy who wants those words to apply to him, then definitely stop by. Today's show runs until 5pm at the Ron Robinson boutique in Fred Segal at 5th & Broadway; tomorrow, it's at the Ron Robinson boutique in Ron Herman at 8100 Melrose Ave from 2pm-5pm.
