The men's shoe section: Not going anywhere anytime soon
Feeling daunted by the Barneys Warehouse Sale? Don't worry: There will be markdowns. Oh yes, there will be markdowns. Below, the two places that aren't worth a visit now, but will become much more enticing once the extra discount takes hold.
Wait Until Markdowns For:
1.) Women's designer. We might be tempting fate with this one, but these racks weren't really being shopped. And while we spotted some great pieces in the mix—a bunch of Prada's lace skirts, some heavenly Dries van Noten maxidresses, a few Balenciaga 'neoprene' dresses, several Lanvin gowns—just about everything was still hovering around the $1,000 mark. Sizes were really limited, and a lot of the pieces were really recognizable as last season (if you're bothered by that kind of thing).
2.) Men's shoes. Again, no one was shopping these, and the selection was small (mostly Alife sneakers.)
