Just when we were thinking streetwear could use a few more sequins, Jeremy Scott's outre collection for Adidas' "Originals by Originals" project hit a select few LA retailers yesterday.
In typically flamboyant fashion, the LA-based designer has concocted a range that includes fringed muscle tanks, winged hi-tops, iridescent parkas, and leopard-print hoodies complete with ears and tail. Barneys, Maxfield, and Opening Ceremony are all playing host to this unspeakable brilliance until it rolls out at the Adidas Originals store on Melrose next month.
The other two Originals by Originals ranges, created by streetwear designers Kazuki Kuraishi and Alyasha Owerka-Moore, are also available now at Barracuda and Undefeated, respectively.
