Forever 21 is launching a series of "department store-sized" shops, the first of which is due to open late this year at Los Cerritos Center. To fill the 80,000 square-foot space, senior vice president Larry Meyer tells WWD the chain is "bringing in larger sizes, a more enhanced shoe collection, lingerie and more categories.” Many of these super-sized stores will be located in the 15 former Mervyn's spaces Forever 21 acquired in December.
