In a move straight from the Gossip Girl playbook, LA-based designer Jenni Kayne debuted her Fall 2009 collection by throwing a party at her parents' Park Avenue pad. Kicking off New York Fashion Week last night, the designer presented her typical blend of bohemia and androgyny, with slouchy blazers and cropped, pleated trousers balancing out pale pink silks and languid maxidresses. This time, however, the proceedings were tinged with uptown luxury, in the way of fur, beading and lace accents - Blair and Serena would most certainly approve.
