Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

LOS FELIZ—The home and lifestyle boutique Happy is hosting a reception for their first annual small works group art show. It's the pieces that are small: the group of 50 artists each created a work that was 12”x12” and under, and each piece sells for $100. For more info on the artists featured, check out their blog. The reception is Friday, December 4, from 6pm to 10pm. 4675 Hollywood Blvd. (323-661-2200) [Racked Inbox]

ECHO PARK—We made some new friends in Echo Park this week: Echo Country Outpost (check back tomorrow for the full account). We are totally vouching for them, and suggest that you get to know them over brunch on Saturday. They're having a Holiday Hootenanny, with food, drinks, entertainment, and a 15% discount on all merchandise. The Outpost is quite a treasure; get on over there and say hi from noon to 8pm. They're at 1930 Echo Park Ave. (323-667-9606) [Racked Inbox]
