Today, the LAPD donated 5,000 pairs of fake designer shoes to the Union Rescue Mission. Another batch of 5,000 will be handed out next month. According the City Attorney's spokesperson, "It makes so much more sense to use them, instead of sending them to the landfill." We wonder what's going to happen to all the fake designer handbags that must have been confiscated, too. [LA Daily News]
