The Ghosts of Balenciaga Past have finally come back to haunt Steve Madden: the mainstream shoe retailer has been slapped with a lawsuit for copying the colorful Lego shoe made famous by Beyonce. And don't forget, this lawsuit comes just two months after Alexander McQueen sued the company for copying its Faithful bootie. No word yet on whether or not Balenciaga is planning on prosecuting any of the other companies that knocked off the style in the most eyeball-assaulting ways. Or whether or not Steve has learned any kind of lesson from all of this.
