Remember the giant Forever 21 at the Westfield Culver City mall? Right next to a soon-to-open H&M and Express? Well, way down at the other end of the mall is a sprawling Old Navy. It's actually so wide that we couldn't back up enough to get the whole store in the picture. Maybe if we had been using a camera that wasn't on a phone... but we digress.
The big, bad discount store had some good deals while we were there... $7 long-sleeved tees and turtlenecks for women and $20 sweaters for men, plus a rack of Halloween tees marked down to $2.47 for men, women and kids. The back of the store featured well-stocked sale sections. We even noticed some flip-flops up front near the registers. The righthand side of the store houses a large kids and baby section, with a maternity corner separating the adults from the children.
Although the Westfield Culver City mall has similar stores as the Third Street Promenade, we have to admit that although the Culver City spots lack the character of the outdoor Promenade, we kind of like air conditioning and smaller crowds once in a while.
