It's finally here...the Stella McCartney kids collection has hit Gap stores. We found displays of the clothes at two Gap stores in Santa Monica, the one at the Third Street Promenade and the one at Wilshire and 20th. The display at the Promenade is on the bottom level, very easy to find. As we already know, some of the larger sizes can fit an adult, and we saw several adults shopping the collection, so don't be shy. The Promenade featured a gray V-neck cardigan that could easily fit an adult in the XL (12) and XXL (14-16) sizes, as well as some of the t-shirts, peasant blouses, and button-downs for both boys and girls.
The store at Wilshire and 20th (seen in the last two photos above) seemed to have more stock, especially in the blazers and coats, and a slightly different selection of merchandise. Both still have plenty to go around in all sizes, both baby and kids. Although we didn't spot any of the Michael Jackson-esque military blazers at either location, which is a big disappointment. To the petite ladies, we have only one thing to say: Make it work.
