Remember that big, two-story Forever 21 store at the Westfield Culver City mall? Well, right next door to it is going to be a big, two-story H&M store. That's got to be some kind of record for number of discount trends within continuous square feet. The store is slated to open in Fall 2009, so we're anticipating the plywood to come down any day now, despite the fact that the H&M website doesn't acknowledge the store's existence. Will it be open in time to stock the Jimmy Choo collab? We'll post more updates as we receive them.
Right next to that on the second floor, above the Forever 21 (whose second floor is more of a loft than a full floor) is a big Express and Express Men combo, slated to open in November 2009. Judging by the lack of plywood covering the entrance, we bet that it's ready to open any day now. Right next to Express is a Payless Shoes that doesn't carry the Christian Siriano line and a Sanrio store full of Hello Kitty goodies, just in case you hadn't already gotten your fill at Royal/T. Our pick? A Hello Kitty Christmas stocking.
