When it comes to sexy, stylish shopping, names like Microsoft or Mission Viejo might not be high on your list—but that could change, since a Microsoft Retail Store opened in Orange County last week. Pretty exclusive, too: there's only one other retail store, in Scottsdale, AZ; and a cafe concept in France. The store's mix is similar to what Apple store offers: hardware, software, gadgets, accessories, and tech support. They're a bit late to the "sexing up technology" fray that's already well occupied by Sony Style and Apple. But better late than never, and Microsoft kicked off the party with a concert from Justin Bieber and some of the crappiest swag we've ever heard of. Seriously, Microsoft, if you want people to come down to Mission Viejo, Chapstick and a sports bottle just isn't going to cut it.
