Decadestwo Popup Officially Open, Officially Awesome

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

After all the hype and all the shots of crazy Prada mohawk heels, the Decadestwo popup is now open in the second story loft of Post 26. Located in the Brentwood Country Mart at the corner of San Vicente and 26th, the store is already hopping, featuring tons of pre-loved and brand new designer clothes for astounding prices. Today was a private preview party hosted by the lovely ladies of HauteLook, and there were groups of ladies coming in and out, scoring great deals on Prada, Chloe, YSL and more.

We spotted gowns from Dior and Oscar de la Renta for $1275, an unworn Phillip Lim with the Barney's tag still attached for $315, and a black Carmen Marc Valvo for $550. A table full of shoes is front and center upon entrance, with all sizes and designers. (Shoes in the back are separated by size.) We spotted Marc Jacobs for $175, Manolos for $205, Lanvins for $230, YSL for $170, and Louboutins for $200. There's also an elaborate pair of satin, floral-embroidered, over-the-knee wedge boots from YSL for $510. If you're a size 36.5, you're in luck.

Handbags are scattered throughout, featuring a few styles that are currently in stores, like a giant red Prada tote (partially captured in one of our photos) for $970. A green woven Bottega Veneta grabbed our attention in the front of the handbag table, and we were told was half-price at $1650. We also saw bags from Gucci, Lanvin and Fendi.

Most of the clothing was skewed to coats and gowns, but there were still some beautiful options, like a cropped Dior jacket, an orange grommeted peacoat from Moschino, a black wool Chloe coat, and a leather J Mendel jacket. We couldn't stop touching a buttery leather Prada jacket that was $270, so if you're the size 42 lady who buys it, you're getting plenty of Racked LA cooties along with any potential celebrity ones. (You're welcome.) We also spotted a red Gucci suede shirt for $260, a Missoni tank top and a Marni sleeveless top.

The prices we noted here are just a small overview of what's available; each item is priced individually. There were also plenty of scarves and jewelry that we didn't get a chance to peek at before we left. Also, for those who are in it for the long haul, there are chairs in the back for resting. There are also a few dressing rooms available, so please don't strip down to leggings and a tank top in the middle of the store. This is a classy sale, people.

The sale opens officially tomorrow from 10 am to 7 pm, Saturday 10 am to 7 pm and finally on Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm for their big shoe blowout. As the sale wears on, Decadestwo will replenish stock, but the best high-end stuff hits the floor first, so don't wait if you want the best selection.
