Wow, just...wow, is what we've got to say about the grisly, cryptic carnage in the normally whimsical window of Marc by Marc Jacobs on Melrose. It's pretty dreadful, but it also feels like there's a message: a headless mannequin in a bikini with a rifle; the Hollywood sign in flames; devilish figures; disembodied hands; and smiling, flayed dudes who look like Bodyworlds rejects. Is it political? Was someone reading the Inferno, Johnny Got His Gun, and Valley of the Dolls before bed? If you have definitive ideas, please do pass them along.
