Fashion and TV make the world a better place

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We never thought we’d use the words “Proenza Schouler” and “Family Guy” in the same sentence, but apparently the designers have created t-shirts and tank tops to support iParticipate, a foundation aimed at encouraging volunteerism at the local level. Major TV networks like Fox, ABC, NBC and CBS are behind the initiative too: they’ll run iParticipate promos featuring actors wearing the special shirts. Ok, so it will probably be people like Sandra Oh or Hugh Laurie, but still, how great would a Prouenza Schouler-clad Peter Griffin be? [StyleList]
