Metromix checks in with Kevin and Bo Carney and their Mohawk General Store shop, discovering why the pair set up in Echo Park ("it's a location with no pressure"), what brands are currently on the store's racks ("Slow and Steady Wins the Race, Repetto, Rachel Comey, many others"), and the MGS aesthetic ("understated but never boring; disco on a budget." And how would they describe L.A. style? Bo: "Not bad, actually." Kevin: "Not comparable to any other part of the world. It's almost transparent (not in a bad way) it just has a subtleness that I love."
