From a curious reader: "I was wondering if Racked had any information on the upcoming Pioneer Electronics store at Westfield's Century City Mall. The construction wall (complete with horrifying human/electronic hybrid graphics) has been up for months, trumpeting an opening of December 2008—which clearly did not happen. I see there are still available positions on their HR website, but there seems to have been no progress or activity on the worksite for a long time. Did they give up the idea of opening a store so built-to-fail in this economy, or is this merely a slowdown?" We're investigating, but if you happen to know anything about the store, drop us a line.
