Signs of Life: Trader Joe's at 8000 Sunset is Hiring

The site of the forthcoming Trader Joe's at 8000 Sunset has been stagnating for months now—we reported "little progress" there last July, and Eater saw "no visible signs of progress" in November. Now, though, a sharp-eyed (and very enthusiastic) commenter has spotted stirrings on Craigslist. We quote:"TRADER JOE'S is HIRING!!"

In a multicolored ad, the relentlessly cheery supermarket announced that it's looking for "physically active, upbeat, positive and fun individuals" who want to "Say goodbye to the same old, same old. Say hi to Trader Joe's." Said individuals should stop by 8000 Sunset between next Tuesday, February 3, and Wednesday, February 11, any time from 9am to 6pm (more details here.) As for the rest of us, we should probably all start working out our parking strategies now.
