She may have moved her boutique to El Segundo, but that doesn't mean Claudia Milan has totally forsaken that hippy-dippy Venice vibe. This Saturday, the veteran Westside retailer will be holding the first in a series of 'Goddess Nights', involving a seminar on soothing essential oils and a belly dancing session to "get in touch with our Goddess Chakras."
We'll admit that we're not sure how to reconcile this news with earlier reports of Milan salesperson snootiness. Does this signal a more mellow turn for the boutique, where shoppers can browse for Catherine Malandrino and Diane von Furstenberg frocks without feeling like Vivian Ward? If you've stopped by the shop recently, leave a comment and let us know.
