A curious reader writes in regarding the BGBG/Herve Leger merry-go-round that's been whirling on Melrose Avenue. "I was wondering if you knew what was happening with the Herve Leger store on Melrose and Laurel Ave? It was BCBG Maxazria, and they installed (I'm assuming) a very expensive art project on the exterior. Then they swapped out BCBG for Herve Leger. THEN they moved Herve Leger closer to La Cienega, and the store is empty now on Laurel. The only signs say Herve Leger's new address. Do you know if BCBG is moving back in? Are they selling the building?" We've got a call in to the corporate office—Herve Leger and BCBG Maxazria are owned by the same company—but if you happen to know anything, do share.
