It's so simple, we can't believe no one thought of this before: The people at Very Small Array have mapped the locations that turn up the most for each state in Craigslist's Missed Connections. In California, men seeking other men were most likely to fall in love at first site at 24-Hour Fitness, men seeking women at Starbucks, and women seeking women at coffeeshops. As for straight women, the map (above) is a little hard to read, but we're 99% sure that says "home," which leads us to believe that California has a particularly high incidence of cute cable guys and plumbers.
