From a tipster, the Smart & Final at Melrose and Spaulding has closed down and American Apparel is set to take its place. But what about the American Apparel right across the street at 7763 Melrose Avenue? According to sales staff, the retailer is transplanting its shop to the Smart & Final space in October, and possibly opening a California Vintage shop at its old space. Our tipster was bummed: "I was kinda annoyed. I mean, it was easy whenever we needed some milk." [RackedWire]
